The official opening ceremony of the Romanian – Chinese Studies Center

On Friday, the 15^th of March 2013, at the Senat Hall, took place the signing ceremony of the cooperation protocol between the Romanian – Chinese House and the Romanian – Chinese Studies Center of the Romanian – American University. The event gathered some very important personalities like: Mr. Nicolae Vasilescu, President of the Romanian – Chinese House, Ph.D. Ovidiu Folcu? - Rector of the Romanian – American University -, Mr. Costin Mihalache, State Adviser to the Prime Minister, Mr. Gabriel Ghelmegeanu, Vice-president of the Romanian – Chinese House. Other very distinguished participants at the ceremony were Ph.D. Florin Bonciu – Vice-rector of the Romanian – American University, Associate Professor Dr. Mihai Sebea - Director of the International Relations Department - and Mr. Serban Georgescu – Director of the Department of Asian Studies of the Romanian – American University, but also Mr. Wang Sheng, representative of the Chinese students community in Romania. This day also marked the official inauguration of the Romanian – Chinese Studies Center of the Romanian – American University.
